Bassendean Arts Community
The BAC is run by a dedicated group of Artists and community members who are actively working to promote local art events. Bassendean has long been known for its “Arty” history being the childhood home of Rolf Harris and a number of other well known artists.
If you are an artist, art lover, art collector or art gallery, the BAC will be here to help and inspire you. On our website you will find work from established and emerging artists, teen art and kid’s art.
The BAC calendar for 2011 will include artist workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions and other events. Our facebook forum will give you the opportunity to share information and chat with like minded people.
Bassendean Arts Council is an incorporated body and eligible to apply for Arts Funding. We aim to gather together all types of artists and art groups under the banner of the BAC. If you are a painter, sculptor, writer or any other creative practitioner then we aim to give you a voice in the local community, a chance to meet other artists and a place to exhibit your work.
